Worcester, MA – Hydra forward Alencar Junior was one of 44 players named to the Premier Development League (PDL) All-Conference Teams on Monday earning a spot among 11 honorees from the Eastern Conference.

Junior led the Northeast Division of the Eastern Conference with 10 goals and 20 points in 11 games played this season. Only six players in the entire 73-team PDL scored more goals in 2012. Junior posted three multiple goal games in wins over the Boston Victory (2-0, 5/12; 6-0, 7/7) and Vermont Voltage (3-2, 6/30). He was named to the PDL Team of the Week on May 17.

The Hydra went 6-5-5 to finish with a winning record in their inaugural season. That mark put the Hydra in a tie for fourth place in the Northeast Division.
